We have two houses reserved for 2010.  The houses are next to each other and both are ON THE BEACH.  Please note that these are from separate realty companies.  Bothe sites have several pictures of the bedrooms, living areas, and amenities.

The main house is named Grandview South at 3652 Sandfiddler Rd and is rented through Sandbridge Realty.

Cost per family: $30 - includes processing fees, administrative fees levied by the realtor and damage waiver insurance.  There are 11 families.

Trip to Virginia Beach Boardwalk.  While we did this in 2006 and 2008, most of the feedback we've received is that we will NOT be doing this as a group event.  If someone is interested in doing this you are more than welcome to build this into your plan. 

Food

36 People Total

Food cost:  See chart at right.  The cost of food over the past two years has gone up and down relatively dramatically and swiftly.  I've added extra cost for the dinners since it is so difficult to judge what we will experience.  Just like last time, we'll refund any leftover funds at the end of the vacation.  Also, as in the past, the food cost does not include alcohol.

In a normal situation, an adult is $168 for the week and a youth is $84.  This includes seafood night and the incidentals charge.  Incidentals covers paper products, soap, garbage bags, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Please let me know if you are opting out of Seafood night.

Alcohol

People need to purchase their own alcoholic beverages.  Please let others know if you've bought enough to share or not.  Let me know if you'd like to provide a "Drink of the Day" for the entire group and we'll coordinate this a little bit.

Restaurant Nights

  • Tuesday Night - Chinese Buffet (cost not included)

Please send your requests prior to the trip.  Jeanne and I will be doing the shopping before everyone gets there, so we need to know what you want in advance.  Pay special attention to choice of cereals - we'd appreciate knowing your preferences.
