We're planning a December trip to Disney World. This will be our third December trip and we're really looking forward to the decorations, the special fireworks shows and especially the Osborne Christmas lights at Disney's Hollywoord Studios
We've stayed at the
Animal Kingdom Lodge once before.
It was beautiful, but we had a room at the far end of the lodge and
it was too long of a walk, especially when carrying 2-year old Ty.
We had a nice Savannah-view room, but seeing the animals was special
for only a couple minutes and it wasn't really worth the extra cost.
We also had five people in the room - definitely too many for the
small Disney rooms.
This time will be different. There will be only three of us (unless Kelsey's or Greg's winter break lines up), and we've already requested a room closer to the lobby. I believe the pool is heated and I remember that the hot tubs were very nice. I also remember that the restaurants were very interesting, though at the time we didn't explore very much.
There are currently just 2 families (7 people) coming on the trip. The Berkowitz's are considering. All are welcome.
We intend this to be a relaxing visit, and will be taking our time and planning our park visits around the restaurant reservations. We're getting Park Hopper tickets, and plan to keep the week very flexible.
