    • Ty wakes up at 5:30am on the day we are leaving and announces that he's so excited that he's going to explode.

    • We have a wonderful time with Bev, Martha and Margrette Phillips.  Later in the week we catch up with Barb & Frank Sarcinelli.

    • We start the vacation with breakfast together at the Summit Diner.  Its interesting how over the years the breakfasts together at the start of the trip seem to capture peoples memory.

    • We drove to the Philadelphia Airport so we could avoid any risk of flight delays out of the Scranton airport.

    • For a more extended play-by-play of the trip, go to my blog entries.  Mark entered the blog entries while on the trip, and we're adding pictures to the blog as time goes by.

    • Kelsey really has a problem with seagulls.  Whenever we go to the boardwalk at the shore she feels like they are attacking her.  Well, they attacked her for real while we were in Disney World by pooping on her shirt.  She actually handled it better than expected.  Unfortunately, she was not able to remove the stain from the shirt

    • Disney is amazing. They even do construction with style.  Can you spot the construction in this picture?  Take a look at the building on the right side at the far end of the street.  Thats actually a construction barrier painted to look like a real building.  When I first pointed this out to the kids, they couldn't spot the difference.

    • Here is a link to the original 2010 Disney Planning Page that we used to plan the Itinerary.  I didn't maintain the prior year's planning pages and I wish I had.
